THANK YOU NOVICE HOUSE LEAGUE COACHES!
This
year we introduced several changes to our Novice
house league program to place a greater emphasis
on skill development and fun, and less on competition.
Although the board (thank you Don Huggins!) had
a vision of how the program might look, we leaned
heavily on our coaches to make it work. And did
they ever! On behalf of the board of directors and
almost 70 of our youngest players who benefitted
from your efforts, thank you VERY much Janet Hofstra,
John Robinson, Chris DiCicco and John Cleghorn.
What an awesome job! Please note next season the
Novice house league program will be renamed to "FUNdamentals".

ATOM BB THUNDER WIN GOLD FOR NICK
Our
Atom Thunder continued their tournament success
this season with a gold medal performance at the
Walter Gretzky tournament in Brantford. The Thunder
defeated StoneyCreek, Peterborough (twice including
the final), and London enroute to their fourth straight
tournament title. This victory was extra special
as the girls were honoured to wear black arm bands
commemorating the memory of Nick Lambden. The girls
dedicated their gold medal performance on the ice
to Nick and his family and the team received several
inquiries from other teams about the arm bands,
all helping to keep Nick's memory alive. Well done
girls!

two to a Beaches or Sandals Resort, worth over $5500,

Just
thought I would drop you guys a line (and a picture)

made a bunch of new friends, all at the same time!
As I have already stated, thanks again soooo much!!
